Why no parabens?

Parabens are preservatives used in many cosmetic and personal care products to prevent bacteria and mold growth. However, they can act like hormones (endocrine disruptors) and thus affect the hormonal balance. They can also trigger skin irritations or allergies. Therefore, we strictly avoid parabens in all our products and use natural, safe alternatives.

What are parabens, explained simply?

Parabens are chemical preservatives. They extend the shelf life of shampoos and personal care products by killing bacteria and fungi. They are inexpensive to produce but harmful to skin and overall health because they can artificially interfere with hormone metabolism.

Is moisturizing shampoo good for hair?

Yes, especially for dry or damaged hair. A moisturizing shampoo contains ingredients like aloe vera, plant oils, or hyaluronic acid, which provide moisture and bind it within the hair structure. This makes the hair smoother, shinier, and less prone to breakage. It's important to note, however, that the shampoo should be silicone-free so that the moisture can actually penetrate the hair shaft and isn't just masked on the surface.

What stimulates hair growth?

• Improved blood circulation in the scalp (e.g., through massage or ingredients such as caffeine or rosemary oil)
• Nutrients such as biotin, zinc, iron and omega-3 fatty acids
• Hair care without harsh additives (sulfates, silicones, parabens)
